Important to note
-
Our Trees
- Are between 1.2 and 1.5m long.
- Trees over 1.5m long will be pruned to a bud-point to fit into the packaging.
- We grow our Trees in soil, not pots.
- We lift trees during the dormant season, Nov-March.
- Trees are despatched bareroot soaked & protected in robust packaging
-
benefits of trees grown in Soil
- The root systems develop well, faster and better than they would if grown in pots.
- Trees are more resilient, hardy and less prone to disease.
- Trees grown this way, can only be lifted and despatched during the dormancy season, November-March.
- The trees would die if we did this any other time.
-
When to order
- You can order trees on our website August-March, (pre-order the rest of the time) and you will receive them during dormant season, November-March.
- We send out in batches, in order of priority of when purchases were made & recommend you order as early as possible -
- to ensure you get the varieties you want,
- the earlier your order the trees the sooner you'll receive them & the earlier you can get them in the ground,
- the sooner they are planted, the more time roots have to establish before the trees come into leaf in March.
