Adams Pearmain is a classic English heritage dessert apple, also traditionally used for cider making.
It produces juicy, slightly sweet fruit with a pleasant aromatic flavour that made it especially popular during Victorian and Edwardian times.

Origins / Notes
Brought to notice in 1826 and introduced by R. Adams of Herefordshire.
It became widely grown and appreciated as a dessert apple throughout the Victorian and Edwardian periods and remains a valued heritage variety today.
Disease Resistance
Good natural resistance to apple scab.
Generally considered relatively disease resistant and suitable for organic cultivation.
Tolerant of late frosts.

Mid-season
Harvesting Season
Late season, typically October.
Storage
Stores well until around March in good cold storage conditions. Best eating window is from late autumn through winter, when flavour becomes more rounded and aromatic.
