Court Pendu Plat is a historic European apple variety widely considered one of the oldest cultivated apples still in existence.
It is valued as both a dessert apple and a key heritage parent in modern breeding, including late-flowering traits.

Court Pendu Plat is an ancient apple variety of French origin
It has been grown across Europe for centuries and is highly valued for its resilience, distinctive growth habit, and contribution to modern breeding, including varieties such as Cox's Orange Pippin descendants.
Disease Resistance
Generally regarded as a hardy and resilient traditional variety with good natural field tolerance, particularly due to its late flowering habit which helps avoid spring frost damage.

Keeps well into winter and often improves in flavour during storage.
