Golden Harvey is a traditional English dessert apple producing small, golden fruit with an exceptionally rich, sweet, and intensely aromatic flavour.

It is highly regarded for its concentrated taste and is also valued for cider and juice blending.

Origins / Notes

A historic English apple dating back to the 18th century, Golden Harvey is believed to have originated in the West Country. It became well known for its unusually high sugar content and intense flavour, often described as one of the richest tasting old English apples.

Generally regarded as a hardy traditional variety with good field resilience under typical orchard conditions.

Late season, typically October.

Storage

Keeps for around 2–3 months. Best eating window is from late autumn into early winter, when its sweetness and aromatic intensity are at their peak.
