Greensleeves is a modern Kent-raised dessert apple producing crisp, juicy fruit with a sweet-tart, lightly honeyed flavour.
It is best enjoyed fresh but can also be used for juice and cider.

Origins / Notes
Raised in the 1960s at East Malling Research Station in Kent, Greensleeves is a cross between James Grieve and Golden Delicious. It was developed as a reliable, productive dessert apple for UK growing conditions.
Disease Resistance
Good resistance to apple scab.
Susceptible to canker - so avoid in really wet climates and heavy soils

Harvesting Season
Early to mid-season, typically late August to September.
Storage
Best eaten soon after harvest. Short storage life, with optimal eating window immediately after picking while fruit remains crisp, juicy, and aromatic.
