Meridian is a modern dessert apple developed in Kent, producing juicy fruit with a delicate, slightly tart flavour.
Its high juice content also makes it an excellent choice for juicing, while fully ripened fruit develops a subtle Cox-like aroma.

Origins / Notes
Originates from Kent and was developed by crossing Falstaff with Cox’s Orange Pippin. First raised in 1979 and officially launched at the National Fruit Show in Kent in 1999. It was selected for its flavour, productivity, and natural disease resistance.

Mid to late season, typically September to October.
Storage
Keeps for up to 4 months in cold storage. Best eating window is from autumn through winter, when the fruit retains its juiciness while developing a fuller aromatic flavour.
