Red Falstaff is an attractive red-flushed sport of Falstaff, producing crisp, juicy apples with a fruity flavour and excellent eating quality.
It combines the reliability of Falstaff with enhanced colour and strong garden performance.

Origins / Notes
Originating in Kent during the 1990s, Red Falstaff is a naturally occurring sport of Falstaff selected for its enhanced red colouring while retaining the flavour and reliability of the parent variety.
Disease Resistance
Resistant to apple scab.

Mid-season
Harvesting Season
Mid to late season, typically late September to October.
Storage
Stores well for up to 3–4 months in cold storage. Best eating window is from autumn into winter, when the fruit retains its crisp texture and develops a fuller flavour.
