Tom Putt is a traditional, heritage West Country apple valued primarily for cider making, though it is also an excellent culinary apple.
Its crisp, juicy, acidic flesh produces a sharp, refreshing cider and cooks well in a wide range of recipes.

Origins / Notes
Raised by the Rev. Tom Putt, Rector of Trent, Somerset, during the late 1700s. The variety became widely planted throughout the West Country and remains one of the region's best-known traditional cider apples.

Stores for up to 3 months in cold storage.
Best eating and processing window extends from harvest through late autumn, with fruit retaining its crisp texture and sharp flavour.
