Tremlett's Bitter is a classic heritage Devon cider apple producing a full-bodied bittersweet cider with excellent balance and character. 

It has long been valued as one of the key traditional vintage cider varieties of the West Country.

Origins / Notes

Originated in the Exe Valley of Devon and has been cultivated for generations as a high-quality cider apple. It remains one of the most respected traditional bittersweet cider cultivars in the West Country.

Disease Resistance

Generally regarded as a robust traditional cider variety with good orchard performance.

Harvesting Season

Late season, typically October to early November.

Storage

Should be used within 3 weeks of harvest. The fruit develops its fullest flavour and cider-making character after approximately 2 weeks of storage, making this the ideal pressing window.
